Out of the mouths of babes...
Tavis Smiley spoke with Ellen Page of Juno on his show yesterday. She spoke about the Spears sisters and their popularity and why she is more grounded: "I was really lucky, my parents were never wierdos."
Wishing you all a very happy and prosperous New Year!!!
Be safe, get yourself a designated driver... just in case, and do it up like there is no tomorrow.

At this time of year many people make resolutions that they may or may not keep. I stopped making resolutions back in 1996 - they don't work for me. I now make predictions for myself.
For the year 2008 I predict that I will be upgrading... I'll be upgrading my relationships... from my all angles... friendships, personal relationships, family & co-worker relationships, the whole 9.
I'll upgrade my vehicle, my job, my finances, etc. etc. I think I'm going to do a complete overhaul.
I started with my blog page. It needed an upgrade. LOL
I will also predict that I will compliment more. I'm normally a happy-go-lucky easy vibe'n type person but I've been pretty evil in '07. I had a lot of obstacles come my way and I was tired and cranky and sick of maxing out my brain trying to solve my problems as well as everyone else's. But I'm bringing it back to the days where I would smile & say hello to everyone, especially to the people who look like they don't want to speak - those are the ones who need a little cheer in their lives.
So, the upcoming year I wish everyone peace of mind. It's underrated and people sometimes assume it's easy to achieve when it is not. I don't predict peace of mind for myself for 2008 because I found it just in the nick of time this year.
Stay tuned for more random thoughts...

OK, so I'm one of those people who will go to the theater if I am REALLY looking forward to a film, but otherwise I will watch it after it hits On Demand.
The other day I caught, "Mr. Brooks," starring Kevin Costner, William Hurt and Demi Moore. Talk about a GOOD movie. OMG I've never seen Kevin Costner play such a bad guy.
If you haven't seen this one I recommend that you check it out because he was so good as this villan that I couldn't believe how fast two hours and some change went by.
